Sad News...and More Profiles

Today we learned of the passing earlier this week of 336's Bob Nelson, aka "Buffalo Grass."  A long time A4FG member, Bob's caricatures of 'der Sweet Old Buzzard and the adventures of Admiral Slow Roll entertained Eagle Eye readers for years.  Bob had been suffering from poor health recently, but that old spirit was as alive as ever.  He will be greatly missed.

On to more quotidian news...this week's update includes profile pages for: Nelson, 336: Padgett, 335; Osborne, 335; Steppe, 334; Matthews, 336; KB Smith, 336; Slater, 335; Wortman, 335; Booth, 334/336; Kingham, 335; Lambert, 336; McGrattan, 335: DR Allen, 335; Boyles, 335; Seifert, 336; Hollander, 334 and Hardin, 335.  Also added a page for visiting pilot JW Motzenbecker, 365 FG.

Updated Orrin Snell's profile, as well as Kidd Hofer's page to include serial number for The Missouri Kid/Sho Me.  Which reminds me...

Thanks to Thunderbolt junkie and fellow FG website (56th Fighter Group) admin Nigel Julian for uncovering the elusive identity to Hofer's P-47, with assists to Ted Damick and Peter Randall.  Good show, fellas!  Check out 4FG Mysteries for the 411!
