HERE THEY ARE
This evening the rosters for the 33rd Service Group and subordinate units were uploaded.  In our archives, information about personnel in the service units is scarce.  Please give us a hand - if you see a name you recognize and have some information about his service, send it in.

Additionally, we've added the following profiles: DL Bennett (334), OB Bucher Jr. (335), Hedrick (334), Groseclose (335), RO Davis (336), Leroy Carpenter (336) and Robert Fellows (45 SS).

FOURTH BUT FIRST...AGAIN!
Our congratulations to Colonel Jeannie Leavitt, the new CO of the 4th Fighter Wing down at SJAFB.  Col. Leavitt was the first female fighter pilot in the Air Force.  She now becomes the first women to command a fighter wing.

Col. Leavitt is no stranger to the folks at SJAFB, having served two tours there previously, first with the 336th Fighter Squadron as Assistant Chief of Weapons and Standards and Evaluations.  Upon returning to SJAFB, she became CO of the 333rd Fighter Squadron, a post now held by Lt. Col. Nicole Malachowski.

On 1 June Col. Leavitt took the reins from Col. Patrick Doherty, who will become the new Director of Assignments for the Air Force and will be stationed in San Antonio, TX.

Our best wishes to Col. Leavitt and all the good people down at Seymour Johnson.
