Vincent "Jelly" Baietti Collection
Vincent "Jelly" Baietti
Vincent Baietti or "Jelly," as he was known since he was a kid, was the 334 Armament Chief. Jelly was one of a small cadre of men at Station 356 who always seemed to have a camera handy, and took hundreds of photographs during his three years in England. Of great significance is the fact he captioned virtually every photo he developed, allowing us to identify many of his squadron mates who toiled in anonymity, and whose contributions likely may have been forgotten to time. Original captions from photos used when possible, and appear in quotations.
